PS racing to enter Road to Le Mans with Adess-03 LM P3

PS racing is entering the newly established Road to Le Mans as the 84th Le Mans 24 Hours support race with Adess-03 LM P3. PS racing and Adess AG decided to join forces to optimize the best possible outcome from the Road to Le Mans race.

“We are very delighted that we got this entry and are going on together with the Adess factory team--there is no better way to start our journey. We wouldn’t be able to do this without good support from our drivers, sponsors, Stéphane Chosse CEO of Adess AG and few other great people behind the scenes. We didn’t come just to race here, we are also going to do shakedown our Adess-03 Chassis no: 007 (code name: Moneypenny) a week before the race and to get good amount of mileage before heading to Le Mans,” said team owner Pekka Saarinen.

After Road to Le Mans race Moneypenny will be heading to Asia to take part in the remaining two Le Mans Sprint Cup races at Sepang International Circuit followed by the 2016/17 Asian Le Mans Series which will take place in Zhuhai (China), Fuji (Japan), Buriram (Thailand) and Sepang (Malaysia).

PSR will have another entry at Sprint Cup with LMCN car which will compete in the entire Sprint Cup Series and, possibly, will continue into join ALMS.

Pekka Saarinen: “We are very proud of our achievement as a team and I am very proud of my crew, clients, and partners to be able to put this in motion. When I stopped racing and started my own team from scratch my one goal was to go endurance racing since it is so much about how team and drivers come together and just do it! Other great thing about doing both series is that we based in Sepang and Zhuhai which gives us maybe a small advantage over some of the teams.”

Comments from Road to Le Mans and ALMS drivers

Angelo Negro, LMP3 driver: Racing in the Le Mans 24 Hours circuit is the dream of any driver. I am really pleased to share the experience with my friends, Philippe Prette and Pekka Saarinen. Philippe and I will be sharing the driving while Pekka and his team, PS Racing, will provide the entire assistance with Adess factory support.

Huge thanks to Philippe, Pekka, PS Racing and Adess to make the dream come true!

Philippe Prette, LMP3 driver: It is really great to team up with Angelo and PS Racing again. We’ve had a good run of success together. I am very excited to have a chance to race at Le Mans!

Comments from Le Mans Sprint Cup drivers

Sebastien Mailleux, LM CN driver: After two Asia Formula Renault seasons with PS Racing, who offered me great support and coaching, I believed it was time to move towards new opportunities. The Le Mans Sprint Cup offers the perfect first step to prototypes and endurance racing. Once more, racing with PS will bring additional comfort as we've known each other for a long time now. I look forward to the next race weekend.

Neric Wei, LM CN driver: It is my great honour to be driving with PS racing and my teammate, Seb, this year.
