West Australian Aidan Read does the Formula Masters China Series Triple @ Sepang

Proving that winning is everything to rising race stars, Aidan Read completed a perfect double victory today (4 September, 2016) at Sepang, Malaysia, making it a perfect weekend for the young Australian as he took three-from-three in this weekend's fifth and penultimate round of the Formula Masters China Series.

Saturday saw Aidan dominate the event on a wet, and then drying track, to take the chequered flag seven seconds clear of the field. Sunday saw Aidan complete the perfect FMCS comeback with faultless wins in Races 14 and 15 to complete a brilliant hat-trick of victories in Malaysia.

Race 14 saw Aidan line up on pole position, and record a dominant victory ahead of Zheng Shangguan and championship leader Philip Hamprecht. Gunning for the Sepang triple, Aidan got the job done in the third race of the weekend in style from Hamprecht and Leong Hon Chio.

"Yesterday was a great day, but today was twice as good," Aidan said. "The Eurasia Motorsport team did a great job with the #24 car as ever and I was able to just focus on the racing and ensure we more than made up for last time out. And I think we've done that now."

The FMCS concludes at the next round at Penbay International Circuit in Taiwan on October 15-16.
